Work Begins

The weather is really blah, but we're heading out to buy materials and begin working. It's a very interesting feeling. Jessica said it's like Christmas.

We want to get new front and back doors/locks put in today, and maybe a mailbox. Since it's a rainy day, it would be a good time for me to investigate a roof leak that we have over the garage. I also will probably start demolition of the existing tile tub surround. I plan to rebuild the tub surround from scratch, unless what's under the existing tile is in perfect shape. I hope we can remember to take lots of pictures so everyone can see what we're up to. More to come soon!
