The Deal does NOT Go Down

I am writing this, my first blog ever, as a highly irritated and exasperated non-homeowner. We were supposed to close this afternoon at 4:00, but there was a senseless hang-up. The lien holder on the house asked the current owners and their bank for more money than originally agreed upon. One would think the problem would be that the borrowers would not agree to the lien holder's new terms, but this is not true. The problem is that the lein holder has to acknowledge that they do, indeed, want more money, but they are apparently not in a hurry to do so. The new hope is to close on Monday. My faith in that is quite slim right now. I may never move again once we get into this house. The process has been so stressful.
